You can Buy Now its completley secure, as payments are processed by Paypal and independent and approved processing company, who are also PCI DSS compliant.
How to use calling cards
- You need to have a telephone which could either be: a mobile phone, a landline phone or a public payphone.
You can contact one of the major mobile phone providers such as T-mobile, 02, Three mobile or Vodaphone for a mobile phone. Visit their websites for more details. You will find public payphones at railway stations, bus stations and on most streets. Instructions on how to use them are displayed next to the telephone. Most red phone boxes have been replaced by newer modern clear glass ones, and there are different companies operating phone services. They accept coins from 40 pence upwards and many phone boxes also accept credit cards, or phone cards (these can be purchased from most convenience stores & newsagents, and come in many denominations from £5 to £20).
- Dial the access number provided by the calling card company
Nsac has three main local acess numbers and they are provided when you click here. After dialing the access number you need to press the # key on your mobile or lanline or payphone.
- You will then be prompted to dial your destination number.
At this point you can dial the international number you wish to dial including the international code for the specific country and then press # key on you phone key pad. Your call will be put through and you wait to hear your family member or friend on the line.
How you are charged
If you are using a mobile phone, your phone network provider might charge you for dialing the local access number if you phone is a Pay As You Go. If your phone is a line rental then you may have free minutes and your phone network provider will deducts some of those minutes at the local number rate. This will be less than 1 p per minute in some cases, just 1 pence per minute.
If you are using a landline, the same applies your network provider might charge for the local access number dialed, however you may have free evening and weekend calls from your landline and you may dial the access number during these times. If calling from a landline you may use Nsac's toll free access number which is free and you will not incur any charges from your phone network provider irrespective of what time of day you make the call. Note, however, that you will receive less minutes for your international call if you use the toll fee access number.
